The Welshampton Bonfire 2009 was 'The Haunted House'

All at the Bonfire committee were saddened to hear of the death of Gerald Cooper. We will all miss his kind and gentle nature. A loving family man and important member of our community. Gerald played an important role in our bonfire providing telegraph poles for the build and last year finding time to step in at the last moment to drive the telehandler. Geralds family have asked that rather than flowers donations to the Welshampton Bonfire would be appreciated as this event meant a lot to Gerald. His passing brings a great sadness to us all.
